El Desfile Histórico: The Historic Parade

August 2, 12pm – 2pm

The Cottage At Miramar

This home dates back to the early 1900s and was originally a “day shack” for sun worshipping beach goers to take refuge on hot summer days. Enter on the upper level with a unique pitched ceiling and skylights with large bay windows centered on the ocean. The Living and Dining Rooms meld together and are anchored by an open Kitchen extended by a deck that features glass railings for unobstructed views.

ARROYO BURRO BEACH

Arroyo Burro Beach, aka Hendry’s Beach, is a local favorite in The Mesa community. It is best known for its winding coastline, light surf, and is one of the only parks in the area that allows dogs to be off leash. Just beyond the shore lies the Douglas Family Preserve, which offers 70-acres of undeveloped park with lots of hiking trails and vistas. You can even find the famous Boathouse Restaurant, a popular restaurant located on the sands of the beach.

Summerland beach is one of the most picturesque in Santa Barbara county. Located just below Lookout Park, experience calm waters fit for paddle boarding and kayaking, and long strips of sand to walk along.
